The 2030 Agenda

Our commitment to the 2030 Agenda

During the United Nations Sustainable Development Summit on 25 September 2015, more than 150 world leaders adopted the new 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The 17 Goals, aim to end poverty, hunger and inequality, take action on climate change and the environment, improve access to health and education, build strong institutions and partnerships, and more.

Over the last decade, European Commission support for private sector development has averaged EUR 350 million per year and the current Multiannual Financial Framework for 2014-2020 contains approximately EUR 2billion for private sector development.

The Italian Agency of Cooperation (AICS), in line with the 2030 Agenda, invited all Italian companies to use their creativity and their innovation, in order to find a solution to the challenges of sustainable development. AICS recognizes and fosters the contribution of companies and banking institutions to the development processes of partner countries, in compliance the principles of transparency, competition and social responsibility, through:
the promotion of the participation of the For-Profit subjects to the procedures of public evidence of contracts for cooperation initiatives;
incentives for the establishment of “mixed enterprises” in partner countries;
Initiatives proposed by private subjects.

This, combined with development assistance from Member States, makes the EU and Italy key players in supporting local private sector development in partner countries.

Cadini Group, a truly international company, has been for decades in the front line to promote sustainable development and cooperation in the Middle East and East Africa.

We are proud to present ourselves deeply committed to the 2030 Agenda and pursue our business with the enrichment of our Clients, the society and the environment.
